Attorney Laurence A. Maurer Elected President of NSU Alvin Sherman Library Board; Receives Additional Honor from The Salvation Army.
Senior Attorney Laurence A. Maurer, Of Counsel to Panza, Maurer & Maynard and President of New River Realty Corporation, has been elected Advisory Board President of the Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Alvin Sherman Library, Research and Information Technology Center. The library, one of the state’s largest, at 325,000 square feet, serves the residents of Broward County as well as the University’s students and faculty.
In addition, Maurer, past Advisory Board Chair and current Advisory Board member of The Salvation Army, Broward County, was recently honored for his invaluable contribution in the construction of the new “Open Door Shelter.” The shelter provides daily onsite housing to the homeless in the City of Fort Lauderdale.
