Monica Rodriquez

Monica L. Rodriguez has almost two decades of legislative experience at the state and federal levels representing clients in industries such as health care and insurance, as well as non-profit entities, and local governments. In 2008 she was selected as one of Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elites. She was a Shareholder at a large national law firm, and served as a legislative aide to former House Speaker and current U.S. Senator Marco Rubio. Monica previously served on the statewide steering committee and as the Miami Dade County Co-Chair for Newt Gingrich for President. She was an officer for the Republican Party of Dade County and was the National committeewoman from Florida for the Republican National Hispanic Assembly. While a delegate to the 2000 Republican National Convention, she was selected to place Dick Cheney’s name into nomination as Vice President.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Monica currently serves on the Board of the Children’s Home Society’s North Central division. Her previous civic activities have included serving on the Board of the United Way’s “Power of the Purse” campaign and the Board of Kristi House in Miami.

Monica earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Science in Education and Juris Doctorate degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Miami.
