Procurement
Panza, Maurer & Maynard has extensive experience in handling large state and local bid and procurement matters for decades. The firm consults with clients from the earliest stages of the procurement process in evaluating and assessing the bid requirements and collaborating with experts on the client subject matter in developing the bid proposal.
This early involvement creates focus on the bottom line product or services being procured and how best to present the proposal to the Agency. Directed attention is paid to the evaluation criteria to ensure the client responses are submitted with a clear understanding of the rules which the proposal will be judged.
Most procurements have strong competition resulting in bid protests. The firm has extensive experience in Chapter 120 bid challenge hearings held before the Department of Administrative Hearings as well as local bodies conducting Procurement hearings. Bid protests and defenses are on a very “fast-track” timeline, and this firm advises the client in this process very early so the proper groundwork is established.
