The American Lung Association garners broad success with the Lung Force Turquoise Takeover Campaign. Lung Force South Florida Women’s Cabinet Chair, Susan Horovitz Maurer thanks Nova Southeastern University, Broward Sheriff’s Office, Holy Cross Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Hospital, the Broward County Women’s Alliance, Gilda’s Club, the Broward County Police Benevolent Association, Town of Davie, the Broward County Courthouse, the Salvation Army and PACE Center for Girls for their participation in various ways, along with many law firms, including TrippScott, BergerSingerman and Gunster.
Proclamations from the City of Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Town of Davie, City of Deerfield Beach and City of Sea Ranch Lakes were also issued to bring awareness to the Turquoise Takeover Campaign, as well as the turquoise illumination of landmarks, including fountains and buildings by Nova Southeastern University, Bank of America, the 110 Tower and the City of Fort Lauderdale.
